LIFT-Mortgages undertakes a second-to-none mortgage service. Our 7-step process ensures one of our expert advisers will take care of everything for you. The service also involves a full mortgage and protection review providing advice not only on which mortgage to choose but also on how to best protect your home, family and income should the unexpected happen.
Step 1
We do a thorough fact-finding process in order to get as much information about your personal circumstances as requirements as possible. With thousands of deals in the market, it’s often the small details that count!
Step 2
We will recommend the most appropriate solution for your needs. We won’t give you a lot of different options to choose from, we won’t baffle you with science. We will provide a full recommendation based on all of the available facts and having researched the whole of the market.
Step 3
We will submit your mortgage application on your behalf and handle all of the paperwork. There will be documents that need to be signed and these will be sent to you the same day that your recommendation is made. The documents will be pre-completed however, so all that you will need to do is check them for accuracy, sign, and return in the pre-paid envelope provided.
Step 4
We can recommend and instruct a reliable and professional conveyancing solicitor on your behalf. This will undoubtedly save you the stress of having to find a reputable firm and you will have the benefit of a nationally-renowned solicitor at very competitive rates.
Step 5
Your mortgage adviser will ensure that your mortgage application proceeds as smoothly as possible by liaising with you, the lender, solicitor and estate agent (if applicable) in order to save you time, effort and worry. At this point we will also give you a recommendation on the protection plans which we feel are appropriate for your personal circumstances and arrange the application process for them.
Step 6
When your mortgage offer is issued, we will carry out thorough checks to ensure that the terms of the offer are as expected. We will explain any terms that are unusual to you and confirm that you fully understand the mortgage that has been obtained on your behalf. We will continue to liaise with the solicitor in order to bring the matter to completion as efficiently as possible. We will also put any insurances that we have arranged in force ready for the start of your new mortgage.
Step 7
Following the completion of your mortgage your adviser will ensure that you are satisfied with the service which you have received and answer any ongoing questions that you might have. We will arrange a review date with you in the future in order to ensure that you are always benefitting from the most competitive products in the market.
